Lovingly referred to as “The best place on dirt”. This hidden gem is where leaders grow, friendships begin, and memories last a lifetime.
There’s something special about FFA camp. It’s more than days away from the classroom, it’s an opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone, meet new people, hear from inspiring leaders, and experience things that challenge you to grow.
Our members were reminded that leadership isn’t just about a title or an officer position. It’s about the way you show up, the way you encourage others, and the difference you choose to make. Our guest speaker Rick Metzger provided plenty of motivation and reminded our students of the potential they have to lead and make an impact.
And then there are the friendships. Some of the best friendships in FFA begin around campfires, during late-night conversations, through shared experiences, and sometimes simply by being willing to introduce yourself to someone new. The friends you make at camp have a way of becoming lifelong friends.
For our Vet Science and FFA chapter members, this experience was also about strengthening the bonds within our own chapter. Watching students encourage one another, laugh together, step outside their comfort zones, and create memories together is what makes experiences like this so meaningful.
Here’s to new experiences, inspiring leaders, stronger friendships, and memories that will last long after the tents come down.
