We are excited to welcome our newest Bulldogs! 💙

📚 Monday, August 24th — Last Names A–J
Students attend Monday only and do NOT come Tuesday.

📚 Tuesday, August 25th— Last Names K–Z
Students attend Tuesday only and do NOT come Monday.

⭐ Each kindergarten student attends ONE staggered-entry day.

Staggered entry allows our teachers to welcome students in smaller groups and help them get comfortable with classroom routines and their new school.

We can’t wait to welcome our Kindergarten Bulldogs! 🐾💙

If you attend a public school in McDowell County, you can use your school lunch number as your Student Access Account to check out up to 10 books or audiobooks at a time-no separate library card needed!

It's an easy way to keep reading, research a school project, find a book you need for class, and enjoy books all year long. 📚✨

💙 This is a wonderful opportunity for McDowell County families!

The Bigfoot 5K Dash ’26 is officially SOLD OUT! 👣🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We have MAXED OUT at 250 runners for our 5th Annual race, and we couldn’t be more excited!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who registered, shared our posts, supported the race, and helped us reach this goal. 💙🐾

We can’t wait to see all 250 of you at the starting line on August 29th for an awesome morning of running, fun, and Bigfoot before heading to the WNC Bigfoot Festival!
