Attention current 9th and 10th graders:

You will now see your 25-26 School Day PreACT composite scores along with individual test scores in your SchooLinks accounts under "Student" and then "Score and Performance".

ACT has informed Marion High School they have discovered a need to reissue scores for students who took the online test this spring during school-day testing.

Students who took the ACT online during the school day this spring will lose access to their scores on Wednesday, May 13. ACT indicates that:

Scores will be available again no later than June 2.

Composite scores and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on your individual performance. Your scores will NOT be lower than what was previously released.

ACT will post revised scores to you and your parent or guardian via MyACT (if you have an account) and to your school and/or district and any college or scholarship agency you chose as a recipient of your scores.

If you opted not to create a MyACT account, you may want to contact ACT directly at 319.337.1313 for more information about next steps.

If you sent scores to colleges or scholarship agencies outside of the ACT score distribution process, you will need to resend those after you have received your revised scores.

Murray State University will be offering Explore 101 Summer Camp for any interested "rising sophomores and juniors." Cost is $150 and students will participate in a 3-day 2 night experience where students will explore different career paths.

Juniors who made MyACT accounts prior to 4/15/26 will have access to their ACT scores now.

Juniors who did NOT make MyACT accounts prior to 4/15/26 will have to wait to view them until scores are shared with MHS. Be sure to check back here for updates.

Seniors: If you are attending an IL college/university and may be financial aid eligible, the IL MAP grant will no longer be available after May 23rd. A maximum MAP Grant at a university in IL is $8,400. FIle your FAFSA asap.

Any current sophomore or junior interested in participating in Saluki Start (dual enrollment at SIU Carbondale) should plan on meeting in Guidance on Wednesday, May 13th at 10:00 to go over the registration process.
