September Study: Nutrition
Students had SO much fun with Food & Cooking this month! Our little learners have been busy stirring, mashing, spreading, tasting, measuring, and sprinkling their way through lots of hands-on learning. ❤️
Students even took a special field trip to the cafeteria kitchen to visit Ms. Vicki and Mrs. June to ask for their help baking their delicious chocolate chip muffins! 🧁🍫 What a fun experience to see what happens behind the scenes and be part of the cooking process!
Students also made cinnamon applesauce oobleck, which gave us the opportunity to explore with our sight, touch, and smell. 👀👋👃
From sensory exploration to measuring and following directions, the food study has been filled with opportunities to learn, explore, and have fun! 🌟
We love seeing our little learners get their hands busy and their minds working! 💕🥄🧁
