McDowell Tech’s enrollment has grown exponentially since 2021, our first LPN-to-ADN cohort has become registered nurses, and new manufacturing career pathways are in the works with Baxter Healthcare, Smurfit Westrock, and Columbia Forest Products.

EdNC recently visited The Tech to see how we’re connecting students with career opportunities, expanding healthcare training, and making sure students have the support they need to succeed.

We’re glad to share what’s happening right here in McDowell County.
