🌟 Kindred Homeschool Co-op Market Day! 🌟

Calling all Grant County and surrounding area homeschool families! 🏡📚

We’re excited to invite our local homeschool community to participate in Kindred Homeschool Co-op’s Market Day! This is a wonderful opportunity for our kids to practice real-life skills like creativity, entrepreneurship, communication, and serving others—all while connecting with other homeschool families. We are extending sign-ups to Aug. 19! ❤️

Whether your child has a small business, handmade creations, baked goods, artwork, services, or another fun idea to share, we would love to have you join us!

Kindred is accepting applications now through July 31 for the Fall 2026 semester!! 🍂 Spots are limited.

What does Kindred offer?
👥 Community & friendship for children and families.
👩‍🏫Age-based classes- classes available for preschool aged children and above.
🧑‍🍼Nursery available for little siblings.
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒Parents are key- You teach the classes and assist where help is needed throughout the semester.

Our semester consists of 9 class days over a 12 week period. In the fall, the semester runs from September to November. In the Spring, it runs from February to April. We meet for optional park days throughout the summer months.
We also offer at least one field trip a month, one mom’s night a semester, and occasional community events.

Do you think your kiddo is too young for Market Day? Well, you’re not alone. I (Kayla Busby) too thought mine were too young last year, so I didn’t have them participate in selling. We did go shop though. While there, I realized my kids (then 4 and 5 years old) could have done it. The kids had such great and original ideas. If you’re not sure how you could get this type of event to work for your younger children, here is a sample of a unit study I found on How Wee Learn for 4-12 year olds. It’s a family unit study so everyone can join in on the fun! 😉 There are also several 🆓 resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers. 🍎

Start having the kids think of things to sell at Market Day!! Registration info will be going out soon. An event will also be made to share with family and friends in the near future. 😀

That’s a wrap on the Homeschool Scholastic Book Fair ! Thank you everyone that volunteered and came out to support this event. We appreciate every one of you.

Come see us today. It’s the last day of Homeschool Scholastic Book Fair . We will be at the Grant County YMCA until 7 tonight. We still have lots of books to choose from for infants all the way to young adult. The pictures are just a small sample of what we have available. 📚
