Congratulations to our September Staff Members of the Month: Brian, Doug, Berna, Jamie, and Hugo (the Hazel Point Custodian Team)! 🎉

Every month, our students have the opportunity to vote for the staff member who has had the biggest positive impact on their school experience. The votes are in, and our custodian's kindness, dedication, and support have truly stood out!

Thank you, Brian, Doug, Berna, Jamie, and Hugo for all you do to make our school a better place.

🪨 Rocking Our Science Learning! 🔬

Lakeside 6th grade students are putting their science skills to the test as they investigate rocks from the Grand Canyon!

Students are testing their rock samples to see if they contain calcite. How do they know? They’re adding an acid solution and carefully observing the results! If the rock reacts with the acid by fizzing or bubbling, that’s a clue that calcite is present!

We love seeing our students think like scientists by making observations, testing evidence, and discovering more about the world around them through hands-on learning! 💡

❤️🖤 We Need YOUR Vote! 🖤❤️

Throughout Homecoming Week, our students and staff have been voting for the staff members they believe have best exemplified each day’s dress-up theme! 🎉

But today, we need YOUR help! Today’s theme is ❤️ Wear Red & Black 🖤, and our houses are ready to show off their school spirit!

Each picture represents a house. Take a look at the photos and vote for the house you think best shows off their Linn-Mar spirit with red and black by clicking the "LIKE" 👍 button on that photo!

We can’t wait to see what our Hazel Point community thinks!

Let the voting begin! 🎉

🎉 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🎉

We want to give a huge shoutout to all of our students who walked with us in the Homecoming Parade and to all of the amazing families who donated their time, materials, and talents to help make it such a huge success! ❤️🖤

This year, we had an incredible 100 students walking with the Hazel Point float! 🎉

We are so grateful for the support of our students, families, and community. We couldn’t have done it without you!

🎉 Homecoming Week: Seeing Double! 🎉

Our building was full of duplicates today as students and staff showed off their Homecoming spirit and found their twin! It was so much fun seeing all the matching outfits throughout the halls!

📣 Friendly reminder: Come out and enjoy the Homecoming Parade tonight!
If you are walking with Hazel Point, be sure to check your email for more information.

We can’t wait to see all the crazy hats and mismatched outfits you have planned for tomorrow! 🤪

Let’s keep the Homecoming spirit going, Lions! 🐾❤️🖤
