Did you know that we choose to Love? When people hear, "We should love our neighbors, or we need to Love people ", One of the 1st thoughts we have is, "What do you mean? Love them?," you don't know that person or maybe that person isn't very lovable....there are many forms of Love....I'm not talking about romantic love, or the love we have for our children or our families. We can love people we don't know just through our kindness, our smile, our taking a minute to chat with that lone lady in the grocery store who starts up a conversation with us...we may be the only contact or communication that person shares today.
We can pray for people, that is a definite form of love, even the people that don't seem very lovable, the homeless guy on the corner, the addict that's set on Self destruction, the stressed out Mom yelling at her kids in the store or the parking lot....
Our heart and our Compassion is Love.....it's so hard to see hurt people through the Lens of Love....if we ask God to help us see them the way he sees them, even for a second, we can change our heart.
I'm not saying it's an easy thing to do, but if we ask the helper consistently through prayer, it may get easier over time....I want to look through a different lens and choose love, How about you?.....much Love today...💛

One of the most powerful gifts we were created already possessing is "Choice". Things may happen in life that feel out of our control, and very well may be at that moment, but how we react to those things and how we grow in those things is up to us......Our life is made up of one choice after another.....ultimately, who we are and who we become is our choice....I am striving these days to make my choices count, find the wisdom, the God moments in the daily....even if it feels like the only beauty in the world that day is to go outside and take in the view, I want to choose Joy. It doesn't come from our circumstances, our material "things", our partners or other people, it has to come from within us....we "choose joy".....I hope you allow yourself to choose Joy today....much love..💛

Happy Independence Day to everyone!! I for one am so Thankful to live in a Country where are Freedoms are still recognized!! When did someone's opinion about that dream of your's throw you off course? You know..... The one that got you doubting and second-guessing whether you could achieve it....
Words carry so much power, the ones spoken to and over us and the ones we speak also..." I'll never be able to do that", " You're not smart enough for that", " You'll never be good enough to do anything with that"
I believe that there is a calling and an assignment on our lives that is god-given. It is there from the beginning and deep down we know what it is.
Do you find yourself asking what it is you should be doing with your life, what direction it is you should be going?
What were some of the dreams, goals or plans you had for your life when you were younger, a child even?
Did you bury those God-given gifts, skills, talents and dreams due to fear welling up and saying they may have been right in what they said?
We can Stir up the gifts inside of us, we can find ways to incorporate them into our lives now and welcome back some of the Happiness those hopes and Desires gave us.
We can petition God, in prayer, to reveal to us what it is he has called us to.
We can seek God for validation of who we are and for answers to who he says we are, and what his opinion of what our self-worth and value is.
It's never too late to dig up the roots to our own happiness.
We can stop living our lives according to someone else's definition of who we are or who we should be and take back our own authentic identity, no matter what anyone else says....

I've learned over the past few years the power of our words....What we speak over ourselves carries weight...we can speak blessing and strength and the outcome we want to see in our lives or we can speak doubt and sabotage over our efforts. The Bible says in Proverbs 18.21 that we have the power of life and death in our tongue, obviously that doesn't mean we can speak that to someone and they fall dead or live again.....what it means is the power to speak Life and death over our lives, our businesses, our marriages, our children. I know in my life I have not always had the support needed and started in my youth and young adult life to take on the identity of the things spoken over me.....maybe you have also, you may know the words I'm talking about..
You can't do that,
That won't work,
You're not that smart,
What makes you think you can do that?
When we live our lives according to someone else's definition of who we are or who we should be we limit our potential....
God has an opinion about who we are, he's given us talents, skills and knowledge to use in service to others....our calling, mission or purpose...
We can be the Author of our own Life Story and use our words to lay claim to who we are...reach out if you're interested in changing the conversation you may be having with yourself....much love today! 💛

I've come to realize that trying to shove a square peg into a round hole is exhausting! Don't let your stubbornness to make something happen the way you feel it should happen stop you from the desired outcome. Sometimes we have to be flexible in the process and when we refuse to make the changes, tweak the procedure or give a little we can sabotage our own Vision!
Learning to "go with the flow" can be a very hard lesson for those of us "🙋‍♀️ Me"" who like to be in complete control.
One of the life lessons that came from my year of dealing with Cancer, is that some things are completely out of our control and in God's hands.
When I let go of having to know the outcome and literally gave that to God and my Faith, things changed.
One of the biggest changes was not having to live with the constant stress, another was being able to really embrace things around me and in my life so I was more presentin my life.
I've chosen to flip that lesson over to my business life and am now able to trust that my outcome will be what I want it to be by trusting the process and being able to embrace the learning curves, knowing I can still have the outcome I want even if how I get there is different than the plan I had. Give yourself some Grace to change the things that aren't working, try the new thing you didn't think would work for you and let yourself be present in the change, ultimately having Faith in your outcome...much Love today...💛

Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone is getting to rest and enjoy some family time today.....our message at church this morning was all about taking the opportunities God puts in front of us to bless somebody else...whether it's a material blessing, or being available to pray with someone, or for someone or lending a hand somewhere we can all be a blessing to someone.....on the flipside, sometimes God puts people in our path as a blessing to us....if we are constantly saying we don't need help or "politely refusing" help we could be robbing that person of their blessing in helping us....accept love, compassion and help from someone too.....much love today..💛

When did someone's opinion about that dream ("you'll never be able to do that," "don't be silly, very few people become dancers" "that takes too much schooling, you won't do that" ) throw you off course and get you doubting and 2nd guessing whether you could......

We can stop living our lives according to someone else's definition of who we are or who we should be and take back our own Authentic Identity, no matter what anyone else says. We can seek God for validation of who we are and what our Self worth and Value are.....it's never too late to dig the roots up on our own happiness......much Love today 💛
