Good morning, everyone~
Just a quick note here to tell the entire Marinette community how very grateful and humbled I am for having had the opportunity to serve on the Marinette School Board for the last 10 years. I believe that we accomplished a great deal in this period, but there is much work yet to be done.
Sincere congratulations to the three new board members who were elected yesterday. I wish you, along with the rest of the board and district administration, all the very best in the years to come. Though my journey of service on the school board has ended, my service to the Marinette community is ongoing. My job now - OUR job now - is to support our district leadership and to create the very best educational environment for our students and their families.
Thank you so very much for your faith in me for 10 years as a member of the school board. This faith and trust means more to me than you’ll ever know.
