You ever just look at your life and think 'this is not what I thought my life would be'? 🥺

I'm thankful for a home. But it is empty. Just me. No pets. No children. No spouse. No one to greet me at the door. No one for me to make dinner for. No one to wake up to. Life alone is a struggle on many fronts.

I keep myself busy. I try to stay positive. I try to take care of others. I try to see the good in being single. But it is hard. Single life happens because of heartbreak, loss, broken friendships, new boundaries, and a plethora of life events that shatter you to your core. Don't get me wrong, I have a wonderful family and 2 incredible besties but my world still feels empty at times.

Any one else tired of being strong? Tired of feeling unheard and unseen? Tired of trying to remain positive? Not sure why I'm in the feels lately. But I'm tired. I'm tired from work. I'm tired from being a caregiver. I'm tired from being a business owner. I'm tired from just existing sometimes. The monotony of everyday life doesn't help either.

Maybe it's the dark creeping in with the seasonal changes. Maybe too much is on my plate. Both are likely accurate.

But if you're reading this, you're not alone. We all struggle. Today will pass. Tomorrow is a new day. I'll be ok and so will you 💕
