We are delighted to share that we have contracted with Fusion Dance Company to bring specialized performing arts instruction to our students this season! Owner and director Cambell will be leading two separate classes with us—one dedicated to Drama and one dedicated to Dance.

Cambell’s life has been rooted in the performing arts from day one. A seasoned dancer specializing in Contemporary Afro-Latin Jazz, an acting instructor, and lead vocalist for Santa Cruz’s Strawberry Pilgrimage, she loves helping young artists find their voice on and off the stage.

Through Fusion Dance Company, students in her classes will get to experience:

🎭 Drama Class: Directing & staging the musical production "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White"

💃 Dance Class: Crafting a student-choreographed dance production

🛠️ Behind-the-Scenes: Hands-on stage crew training for budding tech crew members

We are so grateful to collaborate with Cambell and Fusion Dance Company to inspire our young performers this year!

It was an honor to be recognized by the City of Marina this afternoon for our volunteer efforts over the past year. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event! The lunch was delicious, the company was amazing, and that boujee lemonade station was such a special touch; we felt special.☀️🍋

What an incredible day at Locke Paddon Park! 🌍✨ We were so honored to participate in the 20th Annual Earth Day Event hosted by Sustainable Marina. Seeing our community come together for two decades to care for our planet is truly inspiring.

The Marina Youth Arts tent was buzzing with energy! A massive thank you to Tina Rosa for coming up with the perfect craft for this event—our young citizens loved decorating their cardboard pots and plant labels before getting their hands dirty planting bee-friendly flowers. 🐝🌸

Beyond the gardening, we signed pledges for a greener future and passed out reusable metal straws. It’s these small, hands-on moments that plant the seeds for a lifetime of stewardship.

✨ “Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world.” ✨
We are so excited to finally share the professional gallery from our recent Matilda Jr. Tea Party Fundraiser! Taking a look back at these photos has us feeling spellbound all over again.

A massive thank you to sisters Tina and Marlene Rosa for their incredible artistic vision. For nearly a decade, Tina and Marlene have been the creative heart behind our tea party decor, and this year was truly their masterpiece.

They transformed the room into an enchanting, book-filled wonderland, turning simple books into magical wall art and hand-folded book sculptures. Their work turned our fundraiser into a magazine-worthy showcase—it’s no wonder guests were asking to bid on the decor!

Because of the Rosas' vision and the hard work of our dedicated village, our guests were treated to:

🎨 Student Art Walls and hand-painted Mugs that showcased our kids' talent.

🎁 Whimsical Mystery Boxes painted by our talented students.

📚 Beautifully curated gift books from the Friends of the Marina Library—an inspired idea from the Rosas, with each one lovingly wrapped in a bow by our Tea Committee.

As Matilda says, “Even if you’re little, you can do a lot,”—and it took a dedicated village to bring this vision to life. A heartfelt Thank You to our Tea Committee and Board of Directors for the countless hours of logistics, setup, and heart poured into this event. From securing vital sponsorships to ensuring every guest felt welcomed, this team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support our mission.

🐰✨ A Morning of Springtime Magic! ✨🌷
We had an absolutely wonderful time today at the Springtime Family Fun event (our beloved annual Bunny Breakfast)! It was a morning filled with smiles, sticky syrup, and incredible creativity.

🎨 Craft Corner Highlights:
A massive shout-out to Tina Rosa! Not only did she prep the most adorable craft for the morning, but she also spent the entire day volunteering with us. We were blown away by the 160 talented kids who decorated their "Bunny on a Fence" projects. With markers, stickers, and pom-poms, every piece of artwork was unique and amazing! It was the perfect way to get creative between the pancake breakfast and the big egg hunt.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated volunteers. A special thank you to Tina and our board members who worked tirelessly today:
