DMS Foundation donations are tax deductible, and 100% of the funds raised go directly into key strate to attend intramurals, clubs and study/help sessions.

In today’s economy it is evident that individual schools have to step up in order to have the extra funding necessary to provide our students with the world class education they will need as a foundation for future success. For example, early morning drop off was in danger of being cut for lack of a Study Hall Monitor. Rather than losing this benefit, the Foundation chose to fund the Morning Study

It’s our last post before we head in to summer, so we wanted to thank you one more time AND remind you of all we were able to accomplish because of your support this year!

Together, we funded strategic investments that created sustainable, measurable impact across our school community. From supporting student needs and empowering teachers and staff to enhancing the middle school experience for every student at Dickerson, your generosity made a difference.

THANK YOU for reminding our kiddos that !

If you recall from the Patron Drive, your support made it possible for the Foundation to fund Progress Learning this year. As students prepare for Georgia Milestones, they are using Progress Learning’s tools that mirror the real test while building skills and confidence through personalized feedback and targeted support. The program is fully aligned with Georgia standards, including the state’s newest math and ELA standards. Thank you for helping provide resources that make a difference at such an important time!

Thanks to your donations to the Foundation, we’re excited to share that we will soon continue this year’s campus upgrades by installing new carpet in the counseling suite. After refreshing the front office and Connection classrooms earlier this year it is time to extend that investment to another space that quietly supports students every day. For nearly 20 years the counseling suite carpets have seen it all… cue “The Tracks of My Tears”. A clean refreshed environment helps create a sense of comfort and care ensuring students feel supported when it matters most.

Raise your hand if you can hear us! 🙌 🔈 We are so grateful for the incredible support of our DMS Foundation donors. When the band room’s sound system unexpectedly failed last month, it could have had a major impact on our students and their daily learning experience. Thanks to your generosity during our Patron Drive, we were able to quickly replace it with a brand-new, fully upgraded system, including 5 new speakers, updated wiring, a digital sound board, and a new preamp. This system serves more than 400 students every single day. Thank you for investing in our students and helping us keep the music playing!

Calling all rising 9th grade families! Please see the attached note from the :

Hello Class of 2030! We are excited to announce the Walton High School Foundation Fundraising Drive for rising freshman.

The Walton High School Foundation plays a vital role in capitalizing resources like funding teacher’s salary to reduce class sizes, investing in Walton High School environment with property beautification, and opportunities that enrich the educational experience for every student. Your support helps ensure that our teachers and students continue to have access to the tools and programs that make our high school exceptional.

Families who donate $250 or more before April 20th will be invited to a preview tour of Walton High School led by the administration on April 29th. This will give you and your rising freshman an inside look at the campus, classrooms and the opportunities ahead for your student.
Donations made now will count toward the Fall Foundation Drive and will receive the same recognition and benefits included in the fall campaign.

Your generosity directly supports the continued excellence of Walton High School, and we are grateful for the partnership of our incredible families.

Thank you for helping us build a strong foundation for our students.

In addition to organizing and funding Junior Raider Joe’s during Fresh Air Friday, the Foundation was thrilled to replenish the school’s outdoor games and sports equipment used during Fresh Air Friday.

The Foundation’s mission is to enhance the experience of every student at Dickerson. Sometimes that means simply supporting opportunities to have fun and play, which are both essential for the emotional and physical health of our growing teens.

Thanks for making this possible through your donations!
