East Side Elementary PTA

The Community Outreach team wants to send a HUGE thank you to all the families who supported Fair Oaks Elementary this school year! Because of your generosity, we were able to:

• Donate supplies for STEM projects and provide school supplies for 34 classrooms
• Stock the school food pantry with essential items
• Provide 90 Kroger gift cards, 42 coats, and 16 bags of socks
• Fulfill Giving Tree gifts for 110 students
• Offer vision assistance for children in need

Your support made a meaningful impact on so many students and families this year, and the Fair Oaks Eagles were blown away by your generosity!

We had an out-of-this-world day, last Friday, celebrating our amazing 5th grade class at the 5th Grade Finale! 🚀✨ From stars and planets to memories that will last a lifetime, the space-themed celebration was the perfect way to honor this incredible group of students.

We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see you soar into middle school! Keep reaching for the stars and chasing your dreams. 🌟🪐

Don’t let your school supplies end up in a landfill! Clean out backpacks and donate your items to support both our environment and our community. The Environmental Committee will recycle your old school supplies and donate gently used items to students in need! There will be 2 bins at the collection area – one for old supplies and one for gently used items. See the flyer for items accepted and collection dates. Thank you for keeping our earth green and clean! ♻️💚

Our Volunteer of the Month is Emily Brouillette! She has done a phenomenal job jumping in as our Yearbook chair! She has attended events armed with her camera to capture so many amazing moments with the children and done a fantastic job of putting it all together for our student’s yearbooks. Congratulations, Emily!

Congratulations to Yewon Kang (5th grade) and Sian Lee (2nd grade) for earning 1st place in their divisions at the Georgia Wildlife Poster Contest!
Out of 1,900 entries across the state, two of our very own Eagles were recognized for their incredible talent in representing Georgia wildlife.
We’re so proud of you both!

The PTA is continuing the tradition of gifting yard signs to congratulate our 5th grade students. This year, ONLY those that reserve the sign will receive one. Yard signs are provided by the PTA at no cost to you. The PTA will provide one sign per family.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for The Lego Movie on the turf on Friday. We had an amazing turnout, perfect weather, great food, and tons of fun!
