Today was a meaningful day of growth, reflection, and leadership for our fifth graders!
💙 During their Spiritual and Leadership Retreat, students explored what it means to honor God through prayer, worship, Scripture, their actions, their work, and serving others. Through devotionals, hands-on activities, and teamwork, they were reminded that God is continually shaping and molding them into who He has called them to be.
In the afternoon, students turned their focus to leadership as they learned about opportunities to serve in Lower School leadership roles through The Summit. They practiced real-world skills like writing resumes, interviewing, communicating their strengths, and confidently sharing their gifts.
From building LEGO plants together to practicing servant leadership, our fifth graders learned an important lesson: leadership isn’t about being in charge—it’s about serving others, using the gifts God has given us, and pointing people to Him.
What a wonderful day of growing in faith, discovering their gifts, and preparing to lead! We are so proud of our fifth graders!
