We could not have asked for a better day to have Earth Day celebration. We planted some flowers and vegetables, removed & pulled out some weeds and beautified our playground.
Special thanks to Mr. Babu (Naiya & Layla's grandfather) for donation of soil and flowers. He also spent the morning preparing our raised beds.

The smell of apples and cinnamon filled the air.... Nothing says Fall like apples in the classroom!! We tasted Granny Smiths, Fiji and Envy apples and voted for our favorites. We finished off the week with a joint Primary classroom activity of making Apple Crisp. Yum!!

Zoology Summer Camp had a surprise visit from a Vet. Dr. Cindy Pete, Emery's mom, paid a visit with her dog, Brody. We learned how to use a stethoscope to hear a dog's heartbeat and bandage a wound.
