We’re so proud of be 2025 MHS Band Class! Go Band!

Yesterday we performed La Celebracion at our first competition and had a blast! We received awards for best general effect, best music performance, best visual performance, best percussion, best drum major, and won our AAA division! We were also honored by being named the Silver Division Champions which includes A-AAA divisions. We are also so happy for all the other bands for wonderful shows and performances yesterday!

These results are a reflection of the progress and work the blue devil marching band has done this year. We are so excited to perform this show 5 more times this season, with 2 more competitive shows coming up. Don’t miss your chance at seeing La Celebracion!!

Help us congratulate Benjamin Githanga in being accepted as a finalist for GHP!! It is an incredibly rigorous process and he now has the honor to represent Marietta as a music major in Trumpet. Ben continues to represent the band and Marietta in excellence. Way to go Ben! We are proud of you!

We are incredibly proud of our student, Daniel Torres for earning a spot in the 11-12 Georgia All-State Band!! He will be performing with the best musicians in the state in March. We are also so proud of the seven other students that auditioned this year. Go Blue Devils!!

We are so proud of all our blue devils that auditioned this past weekend and had success on their first round. They represent Marietta so well!
