We had a wonderful time at our community Passover seder! Chag Pesach Sameach!

Photos from Congregation Ner Tamid - Marietta, Georgia's post 03/31/2026

On Sunday our Religious School had their Passover model seder. Led by Rabbi Prass, the students took turns reading from the Haggadah. We recounted the story of the Israelite liberation from slavery in Egypt, chanted the Four Questions, learned about and ate the symbolic foods, drank four glasses of “wine” (aka grape juice!) and learned many other Passover rituals. For our “seder meal” we enjoyed delicious matzah meal pancakes, hard boiled eggs, and plenty of Passover desserts!

Thank you to all our wonderful Religious School families who brought the items in for a great model seder!

SHABBAT SHALOM!

Photos from Congregation Ner Tamid - Marietta, Georgia's post 03/07/2026

With Oscar-worthy performances, CNT members and religious school students mimed as Rabbi Prass narrated the story of how Queen Esther and her cousin Mordechai thwarted Haman’s plot to annihilate the Jewish people in ancient Persia. It was a morning with lots of fun and laughter, followed by four different flavors of delicious hamentaschen!
