Three years ago, I sat down with Ilario Lavon after he had spent two years training at AGI Entertainment. At the time, he had just booked his very first movie, and we were celebrating a major milestone.

What most people didn’t see were the years of training, coaching, auditions, sacrifices, and preparation that happened before the opportunity arrived.

Fast forward to today...

✅ Booked his first movie

✅ Filmed 6 episodes of a television show that has not aired yet

✅ Performed on Broadway in New York for 2 years in MJ The Musical

✅ Traveled internationally and spent another year in Australia with the production

This is why I will always preach training.

Success in this industry is rarely an overnight story. It is built through consistency, preparation, mentorship, resilience, and a commitment to becoming undeniable.

The truth about child stardom that nobody talks about. A lot of people focus on getting kids seen. Very few people focus on making sure kids are emotionally prepared for what comes AFTER they’re seen. Attention can change a child fast. Pressure can change a child fast. Social media can overwhelm a child fast. That’s why at AGI, we believe training has to go deeper than performance skills. Yes, we teach acting, singing, dancing, confidence, and professionalism. But we also teach emotional discipline. Communication. Self-esteem. How to handle pressure. How to stay grounded while pursuing big opportunities. Because success means nothing if a child loses themselves trying to achieve it. Our goal is not just talented kids. Our goal is healthy, confident, prepared young people who can handle both opportunity AND pressure. ❤️
