Applications are still open for the NMME 2026-2027 Elizabeth Paige Fish Scholarship Program. The application deadline for the scholarship specific to the Marching Eagles is April 15; the other two application deadlines are April 30.

This program provides financial assistance to students in the North Metro Atlanta area who may not otherwise have access to quality music education. As part of our mission to encourage, educate, and inspire students in a Christ-focused community, this scholarship helps remove financial barriers for families, allowing children from public, private, and homeschool settings to participate in our after-school music programs. Whether in concert band, orchestra, chorus, jazz, or marching band, students benefit from professional instruction, performance opportunities, and the chance to develop their musical talents in a supportive, faith-based environment.

Chorus 1 is a great way for early elementary age students to lay a foundation in basic music theory through singing in an ensemble. In this core class, students learn basic music notation, proper vowels and diction, and vocal exercises. They sing scales, intervals, and triads through listening and imitation. Students sing in hymns, folk songs, and traditional choral pieces in unison and basic rounds. Each semester ends with a concert showcasing their work.

🎻 NMME offers Orchestra 1 designed for beginning students. They are taught foundational playing skills, ensemble musicianship and music literacy, as well as instrument care & maintenance; parts of the instrument; and proper posture, instrument position and bow hold.

Earlybird registration ends March 31. Some classes like Orchestra 1 fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged.

Have you ever wondered what marching band would be like? NMME offers a great option to try it out without the commitment of the full marching season through our Spring Marching program. Students will learn the basics of marching and have regular band practices.

The deadline to register for Spring Marching is February 10, which is fast approaching! An informational meeting for parents will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12th, at 7:30 PM; rookie practices will start the following week on Feb.19th.
