As I drive home from the 100X Brazos Slide, I can’t help but reflect on all the people who have supported me on this journey. Every trip to the winner’s circle is built on the encouragement, hard work, and belief of so many others. It truly wouldn’t be possible without each of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for your unwavering support.
The Lugo Family — When you first called about coming by to look at a couple of 2-year-olds because you wanted a nice trail horse to eventually breed, I never imagined where that conversation would lead. Fast forward a year, and here we are standing in the winners circle together. Thank you for trusting me and believing in the process.
A huge thank you to Misty Valley Performance Horses for breeding such an exceptional horse. It’s an honor and a privilege to swing a leg over horses of this caliber.
