Our 8th graders had the best night at Studio 2030. They danced, enjoyed free food and drinks and made the best memories to carry with them as they end middle school. Thank you to all the volunteers and teachers that made this such a fun night for our 8th graders.

As a reminder, we will celebrate our 8th graders before they move on to high school! If you have not had the chance to make a payment towards your student's 8th grade activity fees ($15), please do so asap by clicking on the link in our bio. Payment is due by April 1st.

Special opportunities held for our 8th graders include, but are not limited to, a catered 8th Grade Breakfast (May 5th), a full-day of Field Day complete with extra games, concessions, and a "sweet treat" food truck (May 14th), an 8th Grade Dance complete with pizza, soda, water, candy, dessert, and unlimited photo booth pictures - all these dance goodies at no charge (May 15th)!

✨Honoring Those Who Shine✨
Yesterday we had the privilege of honoring Dickerson's TOTY, Natalie Cornwell, and the CEOTY, Vanessa Moulthrop, at the annual ECCC celebration in their honor. We are so thankful for all that they do and loved being able to celebrate them!

Our 6th and 7th graders had the best time at our Luau themed dances. 🌺🌴🌺 Big thanks to all the volunteers who made both these nights so special for the students!

6TH & 7TH GRADE DANCES THIS WEEK

Save-the-Date for the 6th & 7th Grade Dances. Immediately after school, until 6pm. No entry fee. Please bring cash for pizza, drinks, and treats. Concession Pricing: Pizza: $2/slice; Candy: $2/pack; Drinks: $1/each. School Dress Code Policy applies. Permission slips were DUE on 1/30. Please get those in as soon as possible if you haven't already.

The staff will enjoy a duty free lunch for their annual "Rock the Crock" lunch. Volunteers needed to chaperone lunch on Tuesday, January 20th.

On Wednesday, January 21st, DMS 8th grade students will be participating in a program called Reality U. They will participate in an interactive financial literacy day full of “real world” experiences. Our volunteers will support students as they manage their occupations, families, and more!
