Some schools teach lessons. The best schools shape lives.
At St. Joseph Catholic School, faith grows, friendships flourish, and children discover who God is calling them to be. Here, students are known, loved, and inspired to excel: academically, spiritually, and personally. More than a school, St. Joseph is a community where families belong and children thrive.

We are thrilled to share an update on the progress of our library renovations. Thanks to all of the volunteers who joined us on campus to help pack and organize books to prepare for the renovations. New paint has now coated the walls and new flooring has been installed!
Also, we hope you take a moment to view the state of the library, which includes our top titles, top patrons, and so much more!

There are only 20 days remaining to help us reach our $100,000 goal in the 2025-26 St. Joseph Fund!
We are so grateful to all who have generously supported our school in this much needed annual giving campaign. We only need $2,000 to reach this year's goal. Please consider a gift today!

Always learning! A group of our SJCS faculty attended the STEMapalooza Conference last week where they explored innovative teaching strategies, networked with fellow educators, and learned new and exciting ways to bring STEM into the classroom.
Ms. Skillin and Mrs. Gaona were even brave enough to hold pythons Ginger and Bubbles!

A coveted second grade end of the year tradition is Camp Bumblebee! Students decorate camp shirts, enjoy practicing their cursive by writing camp jokes…also, they learn songs, make lanyards and bandannas, and journal about second grade in their “bunks!”

Since 2009, our third grade students have looked forward to the end of the year as they get to enjoy “the third grade bubble!”
The last week of school, they have fun learning and playing under the sea! For the final time before her retirement, Mrs. Didier taught her students songs and listened as they presented their science reports in the bubble!
Thank you for keeping this tradition alive and fun for so long!
Before school let out, our first graders had the opportunity to learn more about the life cycle of a butterfly. In class they raised caterpillars and released them on Spring Into Summerfest!
We hope they fly high and come back to visit us someday!

Mrs. Gaulke’s fourth grade scientists raised a praying mantis egg case (ootheca) and released the nymphs before the end of the school year!
Did you know that these interesting insects have five eyes but only one ear and they see life in three dimension?!
Some places don’t just welcome you - they hold your heart. Thank you for making this first year feel like home.
With love,
Ms. Rittgers
