Today was our annual fall festival/resource fair. A huge thanks to all the families that participated in the trunk or treat. The resources provided for the families was nothing short of amazing. We are forever greatful for community.

Today we had our first male engagement activity “Cocoa & Cars”. The children enjoyed sharing their personal cars with friends and coloring hot wheel pages with their dude 😃before looking at some real cars while sipping cocoa!!!

Today we ended national Hispanic Heritage month with a presentation of skills and knowledge in Spanish. The turn out was wonderful, many thanks to the 112 parents & relatives that came out to support the children. Everyone’s valued at Cobb Head Start!!!

Yesterday iTHINK Financial provided school supplies to the 2025 HS children that are moving on to kindergarten. The event was a huge success!

Our initiative this year is 1000 books before Kindergarten…all 9 classes have read 500 books are more. Each class was rewarded with a Pete the Cat and the missing cupcake book that teachers have read to the class. Today we celebrated with cupcakes (each child had their very own cupcake to decorate with either Strawberry, Vanilla or Chocolate icing and topped it off with sprinkles).
