Parents/Guardians and students:

It is that time again, as we are in the middle of flu/viral season, please remember to monitor students for signs and symptoms and keep them home if they are sick. They have to be fever free without Tylenol or Motrin for 24 hours, Diarrhea free for 24 hours and no vomiting for 24 hours before returning to school.

Fever of 100.0 or higher they cannot be at school. Please take time to review the attached flyer and do not hesitate to contact me at the school for any questions or concerns you may have. Also, please make sure to call in and report your child’s absence if they are kept home and send in doctor’s/parent notes when they return!

Thank you,
Nurse Keri

Our Kiwani’s Terrific kids program is back for another year. We can’t thank this group enough for supporting our students year in and year out with this wonderful program. The students selected for the month of September embodied the trait of “Thoughtful”. We had such a nice lunch celebrating them!

This week, Mrs. Myers’ class took a trip to the Marietta Branch Library and had a wonderful time! Students listened to Halloween stories, helped feed the Old Lady Who Swallowed a Leaf, created a festive fall craft, explored the library during a scavenger hunt, and even picked out a new book to add to their classroom library. 📖🍁

It was a fun-filled day of reading, exploring, and learning! Mrs. Myers’ class is already looking forward to seeing what adventures await them at the library next month! 🧡.
