They call the cops, of course! 😂👮‍♂️
That’s when Barney’s human springs into action and helps them with the COPS method for writing:

🚓 C — Capitalization
🚓 O — Organization
🚓 P — Punctuation
🚓 S — Spelling

Who knew calling the cops could help make your writing better? 😂

Barneys human loves getting the opportunity to visit classrooms, work with students, and remind them that learning can be fun—and sometimes, it takes a cop to keep those sentences in line! 👮‍♂️📚

📚🐾 Learning with a Little Help from Barney! 🐾📚

As part of their Wit & Wisdom curriculum, the Sawyer Road Elementary an IB PYP Academy 4th grade class is reading Love That Dog by Sharon Creech. Today, they had a special opportunity to learn more about the important work of therapy and crisis response dogs.

Sawyer Road counselor, Ms. Weber, along with Barney and his human, visited the class to share how these amazing dogs help support people in schools and during times of crisis. 🐕❤️
The students learned about the different roles these dogs can play, how they are trained, and the positive impact they can have on people who need a little extra support.

It was a wonderful way to connect what they are learning in the classroom with real-world experiences—and Barney was certainly happy to be part of the lesson! 🐾📖

Barney, The Blue Devil stopped by the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center so his human could read his new book. The book was written by Barney's human and illustrated by a Marietta High School student. Use the QR code to get your copy. Your generosity helps Barney continue his mission.

Sometimes the most important moments happen right in the middle of the hallway. ❤️

No big speeches, no pressure—just patience, reassurance, and two trusted friends by his side like Barney, The Blue Devil and Ms. Norment, the counselor at Lockheed Elementary.

Moments like this are a reminder that helping students through a difficult moment isn’t always about fixing the problem. Sometimes, it’s simply about being there, creating a sense of safety, and giving them the time and support they need. Proud of the adults who show up for our students in the moments when they need us most—and especially proud of Barney for the comfort he brings just by being there. 🐾❤️

If you see Barney tomorrow, please give him your condolences. The worst thing to ever happen just took place. He got a BATH. It was such a horrible situation, sister Presley had to console him when it was over
