When you get up at around 5.30 to receive a text from a man child to come get me, the couch here is uncomfortable 😲😬🙄

We are going to have international flavor Lost Mountain Church of God (Powder Springs)this weekend and if you have ever attended, you need to attend this Sunday!! Things are hoppin!!!
What a great if short rehearsal tonight! I love our songs for Sunday. I love that one of our team bought her mandolin and wow!!!! I think I saw a few tears of happiness. I’m going to take my dad’s banjo mandolin on Sunday and see if she can tell me more about it. If you are a worship leader look for the talents and use them. Come with all that you can do to serve your team. I love my church. Lost Mountain Church of God (Powder Springs)God is good all of the time!!!

Daughter’s car broke down. Long trip avoiding road works. Car crash last week and break down this week. Grateful no one was hurt either time. God is good all of the time. It’s been a week though; I saw the most amazing sunrise this morning, and the off the charts retreat last weekend. I rediscovered my most beneficial and healing essential oils and there were no injuries and God kept everyone safe. So much more than dwelling on what goes wrong!!!
I've had a lot of prophetic words said over my life, like I would be as Sarah, Bradford, at my water baptism, and I wondered how that would look. I've had the same words about writing, and I wondered how that would look. I've heard the same words about worship, music, writing, and that this would not happen when I was young. Well, I'm not young anymore, and SUDDENLY!, this is beginning to happen. Not without resistance, though, if you do not give "resistance" or "conflict" place, then all is well. It is well with my soul.
So when one book is coming from the editor and it is not yet published and you already have the next book. Yeah I think I’m a writer.
Good tired. Abundantly blessed. Lots of lessons learned. Always a beginner
So, being an empath, and yes, I didn't understand that fully until a few years ago, can be extremely draining. When I did understand it made it easier for me to recognize, and then make a conscious decision to choose to not take on other peoples feelings.
But, yup, just cause you know what's happening doesn't make all those undercurrents go away. I'm so grateful for all my Life Coaching experience LOL!
Even if you're not an empath, you have the choice not to be offended, or believe untruths your brain would like you to believe. Too many times we get offended over something our brain perceives to be the truth, yet isn't. We end up unhappy, putting up defenses, pushing back, and losing our joy.
Choose to be kind, loving, accepting, understanding, joyful, forgiving, ready to compliment others, ready to support others, ready to let your mind overrule your brain.
You have both. A mind, that is capable of making decisions and making change happen, and a brain that is lazy and does not want to change anything, and prefers to follow old patterns even if they are harmful.
As an empath, I have to choose to listen to my mind, and tell my brain to chill out. As a Christian, I have to listen to my mind and tell my brain to chill out.
What are you listening to? Your mind, that is capable of making decisions, or your brain, who is like an errant child throwing tantrums about changing its ways and thoughts.
Food for thought.
What are your thoughts?
I am honored to say I’m now the Worship Leader at Lost Mountain COG. We had such a wonderful service this morning. The Lord is good!!! Serving with Jeff Bowen and Gale Amison Bowen is a blessing.
I’m pretty sure I’m flying on a Boeing to Australia. I’m pretty sure my pastor is flying on a Boeing to Germany. Prayers please. We have much to do still.
What I know about myself. Throw me a question about what you can do for whatever? I can have an overflow of ideas 😂
