Did you know? Black students make up just 15% of the U.S. student population but account for 31% of school-related arrests and law enforcement referrals (U.S. Dept. of Education, 2021). In Arizona, youth of color face even greater risks of suspension, expulsion, and juvenile justice involvement.
At HopeKey Foundation, we believe every child is created with purpose and deserves a chance to thrive. Through academic support, mentoring, and faith-driven encouragement, we’re helping at-risk youth—especially Black and Brown boys—overcome barriers and build brighter futures.

The HopeKey Foundation hosts its first annual wine tasting fundraiser. I am pleased to report that it was a great success. A warm thank you to Taylor at Carlson Creek for hosting us, all of our Board members, fundraising committee, volunteers and guests. The evening was filled with laughter, joy, and community. Guests were treated to a wide selection of exquisite wines from Carlson Creek, a local winery in Arizona. These wines were accompanied by delectable gourmet food pairings. Throughout the event, there were also raffles, a wine pull, and heartfelt speeches that highlighted the foundation's impactful work. More fundraisers will be coming soon, so keep an eye out. HopeKey Foundation had a wonderful time at the HBCU All-Star basketball event. I would like to Thank all of our volunteers and everyone for stopping by our booth. Community engagement is vital for organizations like HopeKey Foundation as it allows us to connect directly with a target audience and build meaningful relationships.
