📢YOUTH!!!

We are excited to have Vonzell Cash, owner of Zell Nutrition and formerly of Phoenix College, back again. Vonzell will be leading the workshop “Doing Your Homework for Getting Into College” on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Urban Experience Conference for the youth.

This workshop will cover topics relevant to preparing students who intend to or are considering attending college. These topics include financing, admission standards, which school will I attend, In-state vs. Out of state, cost, traveling and a host of other issues new students and their parents encounter. Students gain a realistic idea of what is needed to get into college, what is needed to stay there and practical steps for ex*****on of their plan.

Have you ever started walking somewhere, got halfway there and realized an annoying pebble in your shoe, stopped and just stood there because it was uncomfortable?

Me neither.

But that's what it's like when you start moving toward your fitness, nutrition or any other goal you may have.

You're already half of the journey there only to stop because you run into a plateau, it gets hard, you get tired, or anything really.

You stop, untie your shoe, shake out the pebble, get a lil rest, put your shoe back on and continue walking until you get there.

You're already half way there so whether you turn around or keep going, you still have the same distance to travel. Be consistent, stay on the journey, figure out the small problems and most importantly KEEP MOVING!!
