In Jackson County, we celebrate this special week with a sponsored breakfast that will be held this coming Friday morning from 6:30 - 8:30 at the Extension Office on Penn Ave. 10 farm families will be recognized, and we will hear from our 4-H and FFA chapters about their success this year. Jackson County Farm City Celebration Breakfast - November 19, at the Auditorium at the Agriculture Office Complex - 2741 Penn Ave, Marianna. There will be presentations from local 4-H and FFA youth, followed by recognition of 10 farm families. Registration and the serving of breakfast will begin at 6:30 AM CST, and the program will begin at 7:15 AM and conclude at approximately 8:45. This event is open to all Jackson County residents, but advanced registered is required due to COVID-19 protocols.
