🌈🐟 Rainbow Fish Fun! 🐟🌈

Our Kindergarten and Cubs had so much fun creating their very own colorful Rainbow Fish! Using yarn, they practiced their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity as they carefully wrapped and decorated each fish. 🧶✨

We love activities that turn a little crafting into lots of learning—and each Rainbow Fish turned out as unique and colorful as the little artist who made it! 💙💚💛🧡💗

Congratulations to Junior West Higginbothom on receiving the Gadberry Player of the Week Award for his performance in last Friday night’s game against Delta Streets! Way to go, West! 🖤🧡

🌳🏠 6th Grade Treehouse Design Challenge! 🏠🌳

Our 6th graders put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work with a Treehouse STEAM Challenge! Working in teams, students were challenged to design and construct their own treehouse using cardboard, popsicle sticks, and other classroom materials. ✂️📐🛠️

They had to think like engineers, architects, and designers as they planned how to make their structures sturdy, functional, and—of course—fun! The best part was watching each group take the same basic challenge and create something completely different. ❤️

From ladders and bridges to slides, swings, patios, landscaping, and some VERY creative decorating. Their imaginations definitely took over! 👏

We are so proud of the teamwork, perseverance, and attention to detail our students showed throughout this project. They absolutely nailed this challenge! 🌳✨

☀️🎨 Taking Art Outside! 🎨☀️

We’re soaking up a little outdoor creativity while trying to beat the heat! Our students grabbed the sidewalk chalk and turned the pavement into one BIG canvas. 🖍️🌈

From flowers and rainbows to baseballs, footballs, and even a little Cougar pride, their imaginations were hard at work! 💙🐾

Sometimes the best art room is the great outdoors! We loved getting some fresh air, creating together, and adding a little extra color to our campus before it got too hot. ☀️🖍️

⚓️ Second Grade Boat Challenge! 🚤🌊

Our second graders have been busy putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work! Students paired up in small groups to plan, design, and build their own boats using a variety of simple materials.

The big question is… whose boat will be able to hold the most weight before sinking? 👀

Their boats are still under construction, and will test them next week! We can’t wait to see which designs float, which ones sink, and how much weight these young engineers can pile on before their boats go under! 😄
