Attended Nova High School
Named Broward county player of the year
Senior year hit .505 with 12 home runs and 45 rbi
Drafted by the Toronto Bluejays in the 21st round
Inducted into the nova baseball hall of fame
Attended Florida Atlantic University
3 year starter, compiled a .345 career batting average with 44 home runs, 169 rbi, and more walks than strikeouts.
Drafted by the Baltimore orioles in the 3rd round 79th overall
2008 inducted into the FAU baseball hall of fame
2019 inducted into the FAU athletics hall of fame
Played 10 years professionally with the Orioles, Athletics, and Braves. Played 4 seasons in the majors with the orioles and athletics compiling an average of .270
In 2010 played for the Hiroshima carp in the NPB (Japanese major leagues)
Coached for 2 years at FAU
Coached 7 years at Chipola helping lead them to 3 state titles and 2 national championships.
