The media center at Marianna K-8 School serves approximately 1,800 students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
We help students find and check out books, celebrate their reading goals and achievements, and issue and trouble-shoot Chromebooks.

THE BOOK FAIR IS COMING!!!! We will be open Monday, 11/11 - Friday, 11/15. Monday-Thursday, we are open 8:30-1:30; Friday, 8:30-10:00. We will have a quick SAC Meeting followed by Family Night on Tuesday, 11/12 from 4:30-6:00. Food will be provided!

Happy Last Day of School! If your child is interested in reading the Sunshine State Young Readers Award books next year, here they are! Students who read 5 and pass the AR tests receive a candy bar; if they read 10 and pass the AR tests by January 31st we have a pizza party in February. Reading all 15 and passing the tests earns them a trophy at Honors Day! Please let me know if you need any more information!

We LOVE having readers for Dr. Seuss Week! We were able to host MHS Baseball players on Wednesday and community members today to read to our boys and girls. These are photos from both of those days. Reading to our students is SO important and brings them such joy!
