Just keeping my page up to date!☺️ I’m still baking at very limited times based on my availability. Today’s cake is a beautiful 6” carrot cake- three layers of carrot cake loaded with fresh carrots, pineapple and nuts, covered in a smooth, vanilla cream cheese frosting. (Can you tell I had extra frosting that I needed to use, hence the extra frills?🤣)
Those who are requesting baked goods, please also note that as grocery prices increase, my prices must also. It’s an unfortunate effect of the economy in which we live. I’ve always tried to keep my prices fair and have often made little to nothing as profit, since I truly enjoy my “therapy baking!” But I also need to afford to purchase ingredients and supplies. Each of my baked goods are made with high quality ingredients- most often local and/ or organic- so that you receive the absolute best product I can offer. I appreciate your understanding and continued business!!♥️

My husband, Matt, is going back to Nicaragua this summer to help build a preschool. He’s SO excited! He is going to be raising funds to help with the cost of his travel. We are selling pints of B’s famous poppyseed dressing (you know, for her delicious strawberry salad) just in time for your Easter lunch. Jars will be $8, and Matt can deliver in town Friday. I want to wish my customers a very merry Christmas and wonderful new year!
Things will be a bit different at the beginning of the new year for us. Sadly, I will not be accepting any new orders for the 2023 year. Nothing is wrong, and our family is fine. 😊 I hope that after a few months, I will be able to turn my ovens on once again! Instead of having a Christmas party tomorrow, they are throwing a birthday party for Jesus. ❤️ What a sweet way to remind our kiddos what the true meaning of this season is. Happy birthday, Jesus! 🎂
