Have EMA Funds? Use them for your teen’s driving lessons—no out-of-pocket cost!
Step-by-step for parents
1. Confirm your child’s eligibility
* Log in to your EMA/Step Up account.
* Confirm that your child has available funds for eligible educational services.
2. Choose AC Driving School & Traffic
* Search for AC Driving School & Traffic in the EMA/Step Up provider directory.
* Select AC Driving School & Traffic as your approved provider.
3. Contact AC Driving School
* Call 786-585-5185 or 954-933-7068.
* Tell us that you want to use your EMA funds for driving lessons.
4. Choose the driving-lesson package
* Discuss the available driving lesson packages with AC Driving School.
* We will help you select the package that meets your child’s needs and the program’s allowable funding rules.
5. Complete the enrollment
* Provide the required student and parent information.
* AC Driving School will provide the information needed to process the enrollment/payment through the approved system.
6. Wait for payment authorization
* Make sure the required transaction or authorization is completed through your EMA account.
* Do not pay privately unless AC Driving School confirms that an out-of-pocket payment is required.
7. Schedule the driving lessons
* Once the enrollment/payment is approved, contact AC Driving School to schedule the lessons.
* Choose a convenient schedule for your child.
