They had the best attendance at Marfa Elementary during the first six weeks of school! To celebrate, they enjoyed time in the Pop Zone with games and freshly popped popcorn. 🍿

🌍🍽️ A Taste of the World in Junior High! 🍽️🌍

Ms. Ontiveros' Junior High Multicultural class explored cultures from around the world, learning about the countries, languages, and foods connected to each one. To wrap up the unit, students brought in a variety of cultural dishes and shared in a fun, hands-on celebration of what they had learned.

We’re proud of our students for their curiosity, participation, and willingness to learn about the many cultures that make our world unique!

Texas Wildlife Association Visits Marfa ISD!

Thank you to Lisa Allen of the Texas Wildlife Association for visiting with Mrs. Loya's Junior High science students! Through the Skulls and Skins presentation, students learned how native Texas animals have adapted to life in our state and practiced identifying animal skins and skulls using the skills they learned.

We appreciate Lisa sharing her knowledge and making learning such a hands-on experience for our students!
