I don’t need the day to let me know that I’m a mama. It’s the only thing I always knew I wanted to be… a mom. I’m beyond grateful to be their mom. They don’t realize that they’ve help raise me up to be more and always evolve. This last week hasn’t been lost on me. I had one of those experiences that changes your perspective. Mother’s Day is a bittersweet day for many. For those who ache for their mom or child, I pray for your peace and comfort.

Gratitude to be able to take a few days and enjoy a small piece of earth 🌎. I find my mind wandering towards guilt for being so fortunate. Then I remembered that I am Blessed! That we accept all blessings. So I’ve decided that I an grateful. Being so very present in every moment. There is the true moral of my guilt vs gratitude post.
I am spreading kindness, providing acts of service, expressing thankfulness for hard work.
I remind myself that this is also needed to be able to return to my real world and motivate and hopefully inspire.

It official… he’s licensed to drive. This mama is so excited for him! I may or may not have cried. Another rite of passage accomplished. Another moment I didn’t know would be quite so quick. Another memory unshared with my person. look after him.

The sweetest of the sweet. Seriously, those eyes have soothed souls. It’s almost her third birthday 🥳, where has the time gone? It was also three years ago, before she was even mine, My dad was losing his battle with cancer. There was an agreement between my dad and I, that I couldn’t get a puppy until…
So, Ginger is a sweet reminder of my grief journey. She has received all the love I couldn’t/can’t give to my dad. She was born on March 16, my dad passed on April 16, she came to me on May 16. 1+6=7. I was born on the 4/7, my father was born on 7/4. loved numbers. He literally thought in numbers. I despise numbers.

Have you ever been so sharply aware of a last moment. He will be driving soon and he won’t need me to run him to the mall or get a haircut. He is so close to being a man and all I see sometimes is the little boy. Enjoying each moment and grateful to be along side his journey.
