Shorashim: Innovative Jewish Learning for Children of All Ages “Instilling a love and joy of Judaism that helps students grow into healthy, engaged human beings.” Together these two beliefs are the foundation for Shorashim.

Dear parents,
At Temple Sinai we have decided to take a new spin to our approach to children’s Jewish education. Our new Shorashim program is based strongly on the arts, being a center in which your child can explore and express their Jewish identity through music, painting, plastic arts, and movement. In our dynamic methodology we’ll study text and tradition and transform it into a personal creat

ive moment. We believe this will develop in your child a stronger sense of identity, self-esteem, spiritual enhancement (and lots of fun too!)
We also want to empower our children to feel as a Jewish Citizen of the world. This means they can understand and find meaning and mindfulness in the basics of Synagogue and Home life and ritual. The outcome is a joyful and meaningful Jewish educational program . I invite you to come speak with me. Together we can make sure that Shorashim is right for your child.
