Dark Horse Theatre Company at Marble Falls High School is excited to invite you to our 2026 Summer Show, Leading Ladies by Ken Ludwig, the playwright who brought us last summer’s smash hit, Moon Over Buffalo!

This fast-paced comedy follows two down-on-their-luck Shakespearean actors who hatch an outrageous scheme to claim a wealthy woman’s inheritance by posing as her long-lost relatives. Their plan quickly spirals out of control as they find themselves tangled in mistaken identities, unexpected romance, ridiculous situations, and plenty of laughs.

Performances are this Saturday, August 15 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and Sunday, August 16 at 2:00 PM in the MFHS Black Box Theatre. Tickets are just $5 for kids/students and $10 for adults. The show runs one hour without intermission. We’d love to pack the Black Box and have our Marble Falls family join us for one last summer production before the school year gets underway!

As we begin another school year, our Marble Falls High School Theatre students are already hard at work preparing for another exciting season!

After an unforgettable year that included our program’s first UIL One-Act Play State Championship, we’re looking forward to building on that momentum. To help our students succeed both in the classroom and on the stage, we’ve put together an Amazon Wish List of supplies we’ll use throughout the year.
