Maddie finished level 3! 👏
2.24.26 🧡

This girl is SUCH a hard worker and never gives up. She has grown so much since starting lessons and has become so independent at the piano! I am so very proud of all her achievements.

Since finishing Orange last February she has gotten a great start on blue and already completed over 15 songs!

She has done a nice job adjusting to the difficulty of the next book. She always does RH/LH alone first and then when putting it tougher starts on the snail speed. She does crowns here and there for review, but has also had a lot of other fun music to practice: Taylor Swift over the summer and now O Come O Come Emmanuel for this up coming Christmas recital.

Keep up the great work, Madeline! I am so proud of you and looking forward to helping you finish this blue book!! ✨🎹

Brayden finished two books!! 👏
💚 2.11.26
💜 10.7.26

Just in time before his 1 year anniversary of lessons, which is tomorrow ✨👌

He has grown so much this year and he is definitely a kid who LOVES music. I know he could have done these books even faster, but he spends a lot of time working on other music as well and just playing for fun, which is of course the whole point of learning piano in the first place! 🥹

He is shy, but a very hard worker and I consider it a huge accomplishment when I get a smile or laugh! 😁

Level 3 will bring new challenges, but I know he can do it!!

Looking forward to all you will learn in year ✌️
Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!

Hayley finished level 4! 👏
2.16.26 💙

I am so proud of how hard she worked to finish this book despite being super busy with WMTA auditions! This past March Hayley did the regional track and qualified to perform at Stevens point in May. I was so proud of her for challenging herself last year and she always has a great start on her music for the 2027 auditions!!

Since finishing blue she wanted no time getting started on silver and has been cruising! 13 songs to go and 6 away form the final review. Amazing 🤩

Hayley also has started working on Hark the Herald Angels Sing for the Christmas recital coming up on 12/12 🎄

It’s going to be beautiful!

Keep up the amazing work!! I am so proud of you and looking forward to all you will learn this year 👏

Raegan finished her purple book! 👏
2.12.26 💜

I was so proud of how hard she worked to finish the final few songs—she told me she practiced at home to get ready for that final song ….Chimes! & of course it made passing a breeze.

Raegan had accomplished a lot since finishing this book including getting through over half of the Orange book! She has also already survived Coffee Bean Blues ☕️

Keep up the great work, Raegan!! I am looking forward to watching you learn more about playing with two hands & crushing the challenging songs at the end of this book.

Proud of you! 👏

Maddy finished T H R E E books! 👏
💛 2.11.26
💚 2.9.26
💜 4.14.26

I had to double and triple check my dates. She had her first lesson September 12th 2025 after taking pre-piano over the summer. By February she had 2 books done!

She was somewhat doing the yellow and green book at the same time and I give her a lot of credit for finishing yellow—this book gets tricky at the end!!

She then literally zoomed through purple! 💨

Orange has been more challenging, but she is still doing an amazing job chipping away at the songs. RH/LH alone then each speed: snails, turtles, and stars ⭐️

She learned We Wish You a Merry Christmas last year and over the summer she learned the song “Believer” for the summer popular concert. She has also recently started Frosty the Snowman for this year’s Christmas concert.

One year of lessons and she has already done SO much. Looking forward to year ✌️Maddy!

Keep up the great work!! SO proud of you!!! 👏

Milo finished purple! 👏
2.11.26 💜

Chimes (the final song) is SUCH a challenge and he crushed it! Milo does an awesome job practicing at home and is always ready to go with his new song & crown review.

This summer he played “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and it was a HIT! He did a great job with this fun classic.

We are going to start Feliz Navidad today 🎄

Milo has worked really hard on the orange book since finishing purple. He only has 7 songs left, but they will surely be his biggest challenge yet!

Keep up the great work, Milo!!
Proud of you! 👏

Quinn finished blue! ✨
2.10.26 💙

Quinn worked really hard to finish blue and has not stopped there! She is already almost halfway done with silver and I have been so proud of the work she has put in to finishing these books over the last few months.

Quinn is also going to try WMTA this year and has been following her practice plan to a T! That is the recipe for success!! I am excited about the pieces she is learning! 🎶

Thank you for all your hard work & positive attitude in the studio! I have a lot of special memories with you & your group of friends 😁

Looking forward to a great year of progress!! 👏
Keep it up!

Loretta finished orange! 👏
2.8.26 🧡

It’s such an awesome feeling to get through this book. There are a lot of hard moments (Coffee Bean Blues ☕️), but students are just SO proud to finish this book as it’s the first book that you are playing a lot of the songs with two hands.

Loretta worked really hard to get through all these challenging songs by practicing at home and working hard in the studio.

She has a great start on the blue book too!!
This summer she worked on Don’t Stop Believin’ and had a great performance last weekend.

Looking forward to her Christmas choice 🎄

Loretta also has been saving ALL her points for a while now and has over 8,000 👌 I think she plans to cash in at 9,000 for $60!! 🤯

Keep up the great work, Loretta!!
Looking forward to all you will learn in the blue book.

Lennon finished two books! 👏
💚 1.21.26
💜 9.16.26

She has grown SO much this year and I am so excited to watch her progress even further in the next book! Level 3 here she comes!!

Lennon also took on a challenging summer song this year (Baby by Justin Bieber) and she did a phenomenal job this past weekend! 👌

I said this at the conclusion of each recital last weekend and I am going to say it again here. Summer songs are the biggest challenge of the year for all my students!!

Students are playing a song of their choice so the passion and heart to learn is higher than ever; however, due to the fact it is harder than what they are learning in their books they have to work much harder, too.

The result of this is not always a “perfectly played and performed song” but a student who learns a lot, works hard, and achieves growth. It’s a pretty awesome thing to see!

Lennon is ready for Christmas and her song choice this year contains C chords—perfectly aligning with a core concept of the Orange book! 💯

Keep up the great work!! I am proud of you!!
