Ms. Hart’s 2nd grade class took on an unlock math challenge, putting their skills to the test as they reviewed and got ready to tackle Second-Grade math! A special visit from Edit the Eraser and Carla the Crayon made the challenge even more exciting. So lucky to have leaders who aren’t afraid to dress the part and bring learning to life! 🐬

The Marathon Sail and Power Squadron continues to make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students through its ongoing support of clubs and enrichment opportunities at Switlik Elementary. Each year, this remarkable organization generously invests in our students, helping them grow, succeed, and engage in meaningful experiences that enhance their education.

This week we were honored to welcome Tom Casey, Commander of the Marathon Sail and Power Squadron, to Switlik Elementary as he presented a generous $5,000 donation to support our school clubs. These funds will directly benefit our students by providing valuable resources, opportunities, and experiences that strengthen club programs and enrich our school community.

The Marathon Sail and Power Squadron has consistently demonstrated its commitment to our students and its belief in the importance of investing in their future. Their continued support allows students to explore new interests, develop important skills, build confidence, and experience the many benefits of involvement beyond the classroom.

We are incredibly grateful to Tom Casey and the members of the Marathon Sail and Power Squadron for their generosity and longstanding partnership. Their support extends far beyond a financial contribution. It is an investment in our students, our school, and our community.

Our 3rd–5th grade Dolphins will soon be showing what they know in ELA and Math! Please take a look at the testing calendar for important dates and help your child come to school on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best! ⭐

🚗🐬 A QUICK REMINDER FOR BOTH MORNING & AFTERNOON:

PLEASE USE BOTH LANES!
When you enter the school parking lot for morning drop-off OR afternoon pick-up, please utilize BOTH lanes.

By using both lanes, we can help keep traffic moving efficiently and quickly, while also preventing traffic from backing up onto US-1. 🚙➡️🚙➡️

Once your child has exited the vehicle, please remain in your lane until you reach the designated merge area and are ready to exit the school parking lot.

Every car that follows the procedures, every parent who remains patient, and every family that helps keep our dismissal lanes moving contributes to a safer and smoother arrival and dismissal for everyone.
