Wow!

Time is flying this summer! 😳

The end of last month my hubby and I celebrated 16 years of marriage! Like what?! Where did the time go?

A fun little fact... we got married on our 8 year dating anniversary!

Do I recommend dating that long? Absolutely not! 🤣🥴

But I also think you probably need to not get married as a teenager 🤪... so it became our love story! ❤️

Our marriage has been so full of ups and downs.
Joys and grief.
Pregnancies.🤰🤰🤰🤰🤰🤰🤰🤰🤰
Children.❤️💛❤️💙❤️💛❤️💛💛💛
New jobs.🚛🏨🩺
Moving.🏡🏠
Remodeling.🔨🪚
Blueberries.🫐

And most importantly following where the Lord leads us. ❤️ Is it always easy? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. 🥰

I love this man more today than the day I said "I do." 😍

Let's talk about miscarriage for a minute... 🤍

Care during a miscarriage should be different.

The physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of a mother experiencing pregnancy loss are unlike any other. There is a profound vulnerability in the midst of grief, and that season deserves to be met with compassion—not rushed appointments or generic instructions.

Families need more than answers.

They need reassurance that they're not alone.

They need validation that their loss matters, regardless of how far along they were.

They need someone willing to sit with them through the questions, the fear, the sadness, and the uncertainty.

As a nurse, I believe healing extends beyond the physical body. While medical care is essential, so is emotional support, nutritional guidance during recovery, thoughtful follow-up, and a safe space to process what comes next—whether that's healing, trying again, or simply taking time to grieve.

No one should have to navigate pregnancy loss feeling unseen.

Had to share a past happy nursing moment of mine (and my sister's 😉)

Pinning ceremony for my little nurse sister Brooke! As a nurse it is such an honor to welcome another beautiful, smart, and passionate nurse into the profession. 🥰

Nursing is hard work.
It can be frustrating.
Exhausting.
Draining.

BUT.... It also brings great JOY, moments of victory, loving memories, and beautiful friendships!

I have had the honor of serving patients as a nurse in antepartum care, prenatal education, labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn care, lactation support, pregnancy loss, perinatal grief training of other professional nurses, functional medicine, and health coaching.

Over the years my roll and job positions within companies have changed but my passion for helping women and families go through growing changes remains the same, and I am excited to see what the future holds. I am looking forward to this next year of growth and changes. 🥰
