Roy's Background

Meet Roy Alexander, a proud Marana native and a shining example of local success. A graduate of Marana High School's class of 1999, Roy's academic journey didn't stop there. He soared through higher education, attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, followed by an enriching MBA with a focus in Finance from the prestigious W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Roy's career took flight in public accounting, where he excelled as an auditor, earning his CPA license—a credential he proudly maintains. His career trajectory continued upward as he embraced roles from a financial controller for a private equity-backed company to executive positions such as Vice President of Finance and CFO, culminating as the CFO of a leading global manufacturing company in the data center sector. Here, Roy was instrumental in spearheading strategic growth, playing a key role in the company's acquisition.

Since 2021, Roy has been sharing his wealth of experience as a consultant, partnering with businesses to drive strategic planning and growth, performance improvement, turnaround efforts, M & A, and much more, showcasing his leadership and financial acumen.

Supporting this measure will help maintain smaller class sizes and ensure competitive salaries for teachers, greatly enhancing the quality of education in our district. This is essential for attracting and retaining the best educators in Southern Arizona.

As a parent of 5 MUSD students, I am proud to support this crucial proposition as it will have an impact on the education of my children, along with the children of my friends, family, and community neighbors.
