Is your 8th grade student interested in the trip of a lifetime to Washington, DC & Philadelphia? If so, there is still time to sign up for this amazing adventure! Please plan to join Mrs. Reinhardt in her room, M-119, directly following Open House on Tuesday, 8/16 for a short informational meeting. The best part? Participants who sign up within 48 hours of our meeting receive $100 off of the cost of the trip! Please email Mrs. Reinhardt at [email protected] with any questions you have.

It's the secong week of school - yippee! Please continue to watch for our students. Stop for school buses, stop for pedestrians in crosswalks, and watch your speed. Remind your children about traffic safety, teach them where it is safest to cross the street, and remember that children under the age of 18 are required by law to wear a helmet anytime they ride a bicycle. Together we will protect our future leaders of tomorrow, today. Thank you!

You are cordially invited to Marana Middle School's Open House on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Open House is an event that is intended to provide families an opportunity to meet their student's teachers, learn about the curriculum, and explore learning opportunities available at Marana Middle School.

Families will follow their child's bell schedule throughout the evening. This will provide families and staff with an opportunity to establish a positive partnership in order to honor the strengths and meet the needs of each student.

The evening will begin at 5:30 with an opportunity for families to tour the campus and see all of the wonderful facilities that make up the Marana Middle School "Nest".

Families will then follow their child's bell schedule (starting at 5:45) to meet each class period's teacher.

There is an optional 8th grade Washington DC trip meeting at 7:30 for parents who would like to learn more about the Washington DC trip that will take place at the end of the school year.

Fall Picture Day is here! Our Fall picture day will be Thursday, August 18. Portraits will be used for IDs (if student did not have an ID taken at the beginning of the year) and as the portrait used for the 2022-23 yearbook.
