URGENT ASK FOR VOLUNTEERS - Thurs PM & Fri AM
Last year our fantastic HSA hospitality team created a fantastic Back to School Night event for CHS staff ... a RECHARGE snack station on Thursday afternoon, followed by a REFUEL & RESTOCK station early on Friday morning where they can grab breakfast and restock classroom supplies (generously donated by CHS families the night before at BTSNight!).

It was so popular, we're doing it again this year, but it turns out we need a bit of LAST-MINUTE HELP. If you can spare an hour or so on either day, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign up to help load-in/set-up or host/clean-up. It's a quick and easy way to support our CHS teachers before/after an always-amazing Back to School Night event!

Thank you to all who have donated to the Homecoming decorations, snacks and water wishlists - and in record time! All that's still needed is more PEOPLE to make this Saturday night a special evening full of glamour and glitz. ✨

Please consider donating decorations and snacks through the HoCo Amazon Wish Lists, keeping our kids hydrated with a water fund contribution, or helping set up on the day of the dance or clean up the morning after.

For students interested in exploring service, leadership, and higher education, Senator Cory Booker and Senator Andy Kim are hosting their annual Academy Day. Family members are welcome to attend. This Sunday 9/27 from 9:00am-12:00pm at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

This event is a great opportunity to learn about the process of obtaining a congressional nomination and meet representatives from U.S. military academies: West Point, Navy, Air Force, Merchant Marine, and Coast Guard.

Nothing to buy, bake, or coordinate ... this is one of the easiest volunteer opportunities of the year! CHS Counseling needs 10 parent volunteers to greet and direct visitors, and keep the food tables stocked and neat at the college fair next Wednesday, September 30th. Pick the shift that works best for you: 5:30-7pm or 7-8:30. Either shift gives you plenty of time to visit the fair with your student. Thank you for helping make this CHS event a success!
