Here’s your mid-Summer notice that we need your Senior portraits before Christmas break- preferably by/before Thanksgiving if you & your photographer can do it. Thank you.

JUNIORS- Start planning your Senior Portraits NOW.
Deadline & Requirements
MVAOCOU Senior Portraits are due the week before Thanksgiving Break of your Senior year (November 24, 2026). Parents and students are encouraged to have their photo sessions scheduled for the Summer between Junior and Senior years.
► Head-and-shoulder shots
► Simple or plain backgrounds
► Vertical (profile) pictures, not horizontal (landscape)
► Picture resolution 300 ppi (no screenshots, especially from SnapChat, sorry)

Please email pictures to Mr. Mallory
as soon as they are taken.

MVAOCOU needs your Senior Pictures not just for the Yearbook, but also for the Senior Bios featured in the ‘Rams Write-Up‘ student newspaper (Mrs. Mallory & Mrs. Paulsen), the Guidance Counsellor’s office for college and scholarship applications, the class composite displays in the hall across from the HS Office and in annual graduation editions of the ‘Mapleton PRESS’ and ‘Danbury Review’.

If you want, we’ll take them for you-
If you or your child choose not to have a local photo studio take their portrait or can not afford to, either Mr. Mallory, the Yearbook Advisor or a student Yearbook staffer, are available to take a simple “head shot” for the yearbook. Otherwise we’ll use the class picture taken on School Picture Day.
