Hello Tahoma MOPS Community! We hope you are enjoying all the fun things that summer brings! We are excited to announce that registration is officially open for Tahoma MOPS 2021-2022!! Here are a few important details as we prepare for a great year ahead:

🖤 We will continue as an evening group with no childcare meeting the first and third Tuesdays each month from 7pm-9pm at Generational Hope Church beginning in October. We are a MOPS and MOMSnext group combined so all moms are welcome from expecting through school age.
🖤 Total dues are $82 - $50 of Tahoma MOPS dues to be paid at initial registration and $32 of MOPS International dues to be paid in the fall. If you are in need of financial assistance, please email us at [email protected] and we are happy to work with you!
🖤 For those who have never been a part of a MOPS group, we are on a mission to celebrate all things motherhood. We build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. Our meetings cover a range of topics/experiences all geared toward supporting you as a mom, a friend, a wife. Sometimes we craft, sometimes we play games, sometimes we just chat and enjoy being together without a toddler or kiddo also demanding your attention. It’s glorious 😊

Registration is now open for all mamas interested in Tahoma MOPS and MomsNext 2020-2021! 💃🏼💃🏼 We only have a handful of spots left before we hit our max capacity! Please click the link below and follow the registration instructions.

A few important notes:
- In case you missed the announcement a few weeks back, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Tahoma MOPS will be an evening group next year meeting from 7-9pm the first and third Tuesday’s of the month with no childcare provided.
- Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
- Once your registration info is submitted, you will receive an automated email with the link to pay your dues, which completes your registration.
- Dues for the year are one payment to Generational Hope Church of $81.95 - this includes the MOPS International dues of $31.95 and Tahoma MOPS dues of $50. We will be taking care of everyone’s MOPS International registration this year. 👍🏻
- If for ANY REASON you need financial assistance or to delay payment of your MOPS dues, please email us at [email protected].
- Please note - your spot is not confirmed until you have paid your dues or communicated with us otherwise.
- At this point, dues are fully refundable.

- Tahoma MOPS leadership works closely with the Generational Hope staff on all things Tahoma MOPS. This includes decisions and implementation of safety policies and procedures in response to the Coronavirus. GenHope’s response to date is posted on their website for those interested. We are continuing to monitor and evaluate the current circumstances and will communicate any changes as they occur.

Hi mamas!! 👋🏼 Happy summer! Hope you all have enjoyed the sunshine this week! ☀️ We have some BIG announcements for Tahoma MOPS as it relates to the 2020-2021 year! 💃🏼

✔️Due to the many unknowns and circumstances surrounding the Covid19 pandemic, our group will now be meeting in the EVENINGS the first and third Tuesday’s of the month from 7-9pm with no childcare provided. This was a difficult decision and one we did not make lightly. After hours of prayer, many conversations with the Generational Hope team, Tahoma MOPS leadership as well as surveying our current moms, it became clear this was the best decision for our group. While we will miss our MOPS mornings, we are excited for the new and different opportunities meeting in the evening will provide for building community and connection with this incredible group of women!!

✔️Registration is open for our current Tahoma MOPS moms. As space allows, registration will open to the public on July 15th. We will have a max capacity to allow for social distancing so don’t delay on registration once open. If you were on our waitlist for this year, you will have early access beginning July 8th. Keep an eye out for an email next week with more info!

✔️The MOPS theme for next year is “Decide to Rise” which could not be more perfect for this season of life we find ourselves in. Learn more at the link below! We are looking forward to seeing how God is going work in this group next year! ❤️

As mentioned in a Rachel’s post earlier today regarding the cancellation of MOPS tomorrow we will also be postponing our Coffee, Convo, Craft event scheduled for next Tuesday, March 10th. The rescheduled date is unknown at this time, but you will be notified when a decision has been made on a new event date.

URGENT request from our friends at the Maple Valley Food Bank! ❤️

❌ URGENT ASK: OUR SHELVES ARE EMPTY ❌

Despite community drives, school drives, and the generosity of our neighbors up to this point, we do not have enough food to serve our clients and their families this week.

Having extended the hours of our food bank, we are serving more people than ever before. Just yesterday, we saw 180 families at the Market.

We know that this community can rally behind a cause when it matters. Will you please help us stock our shelves?

‼️We need ALL kinds of food, but specifically: holiday foods, meals in a can, soups, pastas, cereals, canned fruits and veggies, pancake mix, canned spaghetti sauce, chili, cornbread mix, and tuna.‼️

Donations can be dropped off tomorrow (11/14) and Friday (11/15) from 9-5.

Please help us spread the word.

Ladies ALL DAY on Wednesday, October 23rd we have a chance to buy some yummy “J Mikes” as my kids call it and 20% of the proceeds goes back to Tahoma MOPS!

This is a great opportunity to not only feed your family but also help support our group and it’s efforts to connect women in our community!

This is such an awesome partnership! If you didn’t know, Java! Java! Coffee Company and Crown Donuts graciously donate to our Friday morning meetings. They know how hard it can be for us moms to get a hot cup of coffee and a yummy breakfast in and we are so thankful! ♥️♥️ So stop in, fill your cup TO THE FULL, and eat a yummy donut!

BEST. NEWS. EVER. 🎉🍩☕️ We can't think of a better combo than locally roasted coffee + freshly made donuts.

That's why we are so excited to announce the kickoff of our collaboration with Crown Donuts, where you can now get your favorite coffee in the donut shop!

TOMORROW, 10/14: stop by the shop for a FREE cup of Java! Java! and a FREE glazed donut!

Crown Donuts is just a hop, skip and a jump from our roasting facility. Doesn't get more "Maple Valley" than that!

60 women were blessed with a hot breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A 272nd at Wax FSU for our first kick off meeting! Seeing so many smiling faces and moms excited to have a hot meal (cause mom life right?) was so amazing to see! We love partnering with local business and are so grateful for their support! Thank you so much!!
