If you have a kid who can't stop singing and bouncing around at home but you yourself aren't terribly musical, this is an excellent class for you.

We have so much fun stuff coming up this year!

Parents and Tots Group:
Kids will have the opportunity to learn basic musical skills while playing, moving, and interacting with each other and their parents or caregivers. Each week features unique instruments, new and classic sing-alongs and lots of movement. Wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to move and sing. The first session begins on January 28th, led by me! I've been running this class at the Ballard Community Center for two years and it's such a blast. We will do a free class on January 21st if you'd like to swing by and see what it's all about.

Spring/Summer Camps:
We are trialing a two-session, full day camp for kids from ages 6 - 10, held at the Maple Leaf Music Space from 9am - 3pm. Session 1 (morning) is for young musicians. We will explore new instruments, learn songs together and make music in a low-pressure environment suitable for all skill levels. Session 2 (afternoon) teaches basic drawing and multi media art skills as campers create their very own comic book! Focuses on building confidence as young artists, developing your personal illustration style and storytelling skills. We are gauging interest for a spring break session so let us know if you are interested!

Teen Jam Sessions:
A weekly Jam Session held at the Maple Leaf Music Space for kids 16 and under. Donation-based ($10-$20 suggested), and open to all skill levels. 12:30 - 1:50 every Saturday.
