Good Morning Vikings!

Happy first day of School 🎉 We are so looking forward to seeing you all and to begin what is going to be an incredible year!
Remember, school opens at 7:00am for breakfast and dismissal begins at 3:00pm. All students must be picked up by 3:30pm if they are car riders.

Introducing our Principal of the year Ms. O’Callaghan! Ms. O’Callaghan has been in education for 30 years🎉 She spent 10 years as a teacher and the last 20 in various administrative roles. This is her fifth year at OCP leading the school to the award of School of the Year! Originally from Sydney, Australia she now calls Ohio her home. What Ms. O’Callaghan loves most about being a principal is her passion to educate and provide opportunities of success in all facets of learning to all those students she has had the privilege of working with, along with coaching educators to be the best version of themselves and perfecting their craft to greatness. Ms. O’Callaghan was recently promoted to Executive Principal within the Dillion’s District and now offers support to two additional schools. A fun fact about Ms. O’Callaghan is that she can play the flute and once trained under an Australian Olympian in swimming 🏊‍♀️

Meet Ms. Deborah Bridges! 🏈💚

📚 Ms. Bridges has been an office manager for 4 years and at OCP for 3 years.

❤️ What she loves most about her job is making a difference in the lives of our scholars and giving parents a sense of security and confidence in our school.

🎉 A Fun Fact about Ms. Bridges is that she is a lifelong, die-hard Cleveland Browns fan! 🧡🤎 She has been cooking at the Browns Stadium for the past four seasons, and because she loves cooking so much, she also owns a small catering company!

Introducing our Dean of Students, Mrs. Scott. Mrs. Scott has been in education for six years. She taught 4th grade for 4 years before moving up to an administrator roll. What Mrs. Scott loves about her job as Dean of Students is helping students and teachers become the best version of themselves.
One fun fact about Mrs. Scott is that in high school she holds the track record in the 200m and 400m relay.

Staff spotlight for today, Ms. La’Vette. Ms. La’Vette has been in education for over 20 years! She has taught at OCP for over 13 years. Ms. La’Vette loves that she has been able to educate and take part in helping to raise families over the years. A fun fact about Ms. La’Vette is that she enjoys drinking coffee in the morning and evening.
