“When it’s too tough for everyone else, it’s just right for us.” - Marv Levy

There will be no distance learning in Crimson Territory, and premature declarations that we won’t be ready for students on September 8 are FALSE - to the credit of our custodians, Crimson staff members in every role, and our construction crews.

Is everything done? Of course not! What project ever gets done on time? (None in the Becker household, I’ll tell you that.) Finishings and touch-ups will be ongoing after school hours, while work continues on the new front office before starting on the media center, auditorium, and fine arts wing in summer 2027.

That said, I am extremely proud of the hard work of our staff this week. They truly are the finest group of professionals I could hope to have serving our Crimson students.

Have a great Labor Day weekend and we’ll look forward to welcoming our Crimson students on Tuesday, September 8 to begin the 2026-27 school year!

Link Crew! Crimson Orientation cannot succeed without the enthusiasm and devotion of student leaders. I’m so proud of the positive culture that exists at Maple Grove, and each year begins with the work of this group.

Hats off to our Crimson students who represented our school community at the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA)’s International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana back in June!

They competed against thousands of competitors from around the world, and Ameya Bhaskar and Seunfunmi Olapade placed fifth in the Public Health competition!

Moreover, Emma Joseph was elected as the Minnesota HOSA Vice President of Engagement for 2026-27! This is the first time anyone a member Crimson HOSA has been selected to a state leadership role!

CONGRATULATIONS to Seunfunmi Olapade, a rising Crimson senior and leader among our Crimson Robotics Team 2526, who as one of 10 students nationwide selected as a finalist for the FIRST Leadership Award, which recognizes students who have made extraordinary contributions to their team, school, and community.

The recognition honors those who serve as exemplary role models for other robotics students. She traveled to the world championships last May to be recognized with the other finalists.
