Class Size: 12- 15 students per class
Positions Open: 2 Full-time ESL teachers
Job Description:

Teaching English to Chinese young children
Prepare for classes (content, games and videos), deliver the class, each week about 45 minutes of demo class.

Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above
2. Two years of teaching experience preferred
3. Native speakers only
4. Teaching Certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) preferred

Class Hours: 20 hours weekly at the maximum
Office Hours: 12 hours weekly at the maximum ( Marketing activities, promotion activities, teachers’ meeting etc.)
Overtime Pay: 120-150 RMB/hour (if teaching hours are over 80)
Salary:
- 12,000 RMB (during one month’s probation)
- 13,000 RMB+ 1,000 RMB bonus (after probation)

All the positions include the following:

- Two days off each week.
- Z visa (Working Visa) and residence permits sponsored.
- 6,000 RMB flight reimbursement after completion of one- year contract.
- Health insurance
- 5 -10 extra paid holidays, National paid holidays (Chinese new year, Qingming Festival, May holiday, other national holidays)

School Type: Private language school
Location: Top 3 major cities in Taiwan (Taipei, Taichung, and Kaoshiung)
Base Pay: Base pay of NT $620 up to $660/hour based on experience and qualifications
Guaranteed Hours: Minimum of 20 teaching hours per week. The average for a teacher is 25-26 hours per week.
Students’ Age: Age 3 – 14
Working days: Monday – Saturday
Prep-work Stipend: NT $3,000/month for class preparation work. Teachers don’t have to be at the school.
Start Date: July or August
Teacher Training: 10 days of orientation and training at Headquarters in Taipei followed by two weeks of class observations at the assigned school. There are also main office follow-up trainings in the 1st, 3rd, and 6th months of the first year.
Benefits: 7 days unpaid sick leave, 14 days unpaid vacation, 1st year resigning bonus of NT $10,000, 1 month vacation in between renewing contracts, National health insurance, Housing assistance, Optional interest-free loan (Max. of NT $30,000 on your first day at school)
